About the work
Commissioned by Prof. Frank Lloyd for a concert at the International Horn Society Congress in Brisbane in 2010, this seven-minute concert piece is in two sections. Both the horn and piano parts are deliberately extremely challenging.
An orchestrated version for horn and chamber orchestra also exists. The first performance took place at the International Horn Society Congress in Brisbane in 2010.
