About the work
Robert Browning lived in Asolo and wrote Pippa Passes. The Pippa of this story is modern-day and, instead of passing, she pauses.
It is a story of modern youth: the desire to travel, the coming of age, and the feeling of bonding with home. There is a little tragedy in it too. The story also exists among my prose writing.
